ABOUT US
- by funding activities, both inside and outside school, that require additional costs and expenses for an impoverished child
- by funding academic assistance programs for children with special needs including technical and computer support
- by providing financial relief to children who have incurred financial hardship when losing a parent or family loved one to a sudden tragedy
Hearts Touching Hearts was founded in 2021 to provide emotional and financial support for children in distress. In 2022 the charity, originally named Joie de V – Helping Friends in Need,obtained Sec. 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status.
Hearts Touching Hearts is administered by a dedicated board of directors who serve without compensation and raises funds through public and private fund-raising events such as musical concerts and other fund-raising activities.
Our core mission is to help children in distress climb out of poverty or social exclusions by fostering a child’s full self-expression. With your donation we can accomplish our mission in many ways:
Some of us may remember a moment in our life, when in the depths of despair, a stranger’s heart reached out to touch our heart and, in so doing, helped ease an aching heart. Today, your donation can return the favor and help save a heart from breaking. Is there anything more wonderful than that?
